The AZ Monster Flyer can be delivered multiple times per month to multiples of zip codes. Each mailer, if more than one per month (2 in total) are delivered to the mail boxes of 10,000 per mailing or 20,000 per month and will always be delivered to 20,000 separate homes (mail boxes).
The USPS does not separate or distinguish between SFR (single family residences, apartment, condo or townhomes), as a result the flyers are delivered to any type residence within the specified zip codes used. They deliver with no regard for home ownership, rental or other.
Yes, we believe as a business owner if you want the maximum exposure the AZ MONSTER FLYER provides this option. The Monster Flyer is so HUGE and knowing that everyone who receives it looks at all pages, your business is equally represented on those pages but the front page (folded addressed page) is the first impression reader see, so you WILL stand our from your competitors.
While advertising in multiple locations on the Monster Flyer may be perceived advantageous for exposure, it isn't something we do as a best practice. There are exceptions in cases of ad size limitations, local charity or advertising for local community events where a paid advertiser is a sponsor AND the charity/local community event is also listed in that week(s) mailer/flyer. paid advertiser will be notified of such rare instances as they occur.
AZ Monster Flyer ad distributions are a minimum 30 days forward, so all ads placed must be paid in full 14 days before print date (not to be confused with mailing date). Print dates are discussed with and sent to an advertiser based on the mailer date without exception. All ads have a minimum requirement of 60% deposit at time of ad buy to secure your ad space, size and potential ad location within the Monster Flyer. Depending on proximity to print (publication) and mailing date an ad might have to be paid in full in order to be excepted.
Yes, we can use your existing ad copy and can make adaptations and modifications to match your current advertising message and colors. We can also start from scratch and create ad copy to make your business stand out brilliantly from your competition. You are allowed 2 revisions to your ad for approval. Any additional work may require an additional ad development fee.
Your ad will be pulled and replaced with another advertisers ad buy. Your deposit may be refunded minus 10% for administrative fees OR if you notify us within the 14 days we can move your ad to another dated mailer, any change will take editorial approval. Either way, if you miss that date your ad will not be in the contract dated flyer mailing.
Easy, we use 100lb glossy paper giving the flyer a very high quality feel, texture and appearance, it is a MASSIVE 24" X 18" four (4) fold, folded into a 9" x 12" neatly folded and easily opened to its full size. The 100lb paper is a requirement of the USPS. Trust us when we say your customer will see your business in the Monster Flyer!
It arrives in the home's mailbox 14-21 days after we go to print. It takes 4 days for printing and 3 days to prepare the Monster Flyer for the Post Office. Then 7-10 days in transit, depending on whether the mailing around a holiday or other event(s).
Every advertiser is emailed a proof of mailing from our EDDM printing office that includes zip code(s) mailed to along with the number of Arizona Monster Flyers mailed. This information can either be sent via mail or emailed to the approved contact person of responsibility on the account. Mailing date is also included.
You have it back within 48-72 hours, sometimes in the same day. You're allowed two "modifications" to your ads prior to insertion. As noted in another FAQ, if additional revisions above and beyond the 2 revisions provided occur, you may incur additional graphic artist fees for your development.
We work very closely with our printing partner who has 35+ years of large scale printing and direct mailer experience. Every effort is made to ensure the flyers are mailed at the exact date required and coordinated using USPS guidelines. While we strive to make sure this is never an issue, there are those rare times that are out of our control which may prevent the flyers from reaching the thousands of homes at the same time, such as weather, labor strikes, postal service delays etc.
When we work with our clients, we strive to make sure your business and its products and services are properly represented with whatever size ad distribution bought. There are times when those needs change and we will make very effort to insure your ad is the correct size. If a situation arises where you need a larger or smaller ad, those changes will be solely dependent on availability of ad space, the ad size you are wanting and the proximity to the 14 day pre-mail date for each flyer and is on a case-by-case basis.
Short Answer - NO, we operate on a fair and equity based value system. No one business should be allowed to stymie another business's ability to thrive and prosper. While other marketing/advertising companies have been known to conduct themselves in such a way, we will NEVER conduct ourselves in an unethical manner and this is our promise to our community business leaders.
Yes, it is in ours and the community's best interest to get the message out to our tens of thousands of direct to homes customers regarding important event based events. These are limited to the following:
1) City, county or other local governing entity limited to the following:
- Charity drives - Must be a local entity, no national entities except on a case-by-case
- Holiday parades, events or other sponsored events where it is of community based
- Any entrance fees charged to attendees of said event(s) must be given at least
15% to the said charity(s) of event, and signage must indicate this to the attendees -
- Free ad distribution is at the sole discretion of editor and must occur no more than
30 and 14 days prior to event due to ad copy timeline requirements. We will try our
best to accommodate above mentioned events within our capability and given
available ad space.
2) Others we enjoy working with are as follows:
- PSA (Public Service Announcements of community value)
- Animal rescue (shelter) PSA announcements of community value
- Child charities, i.e., Make-a-Wish, Children's Charities (must be locally driven and
all monies kept locally only, no exceptions.
- Cancer awareness or similar PSA's of community value.
Businesses who sponsor above said events will be entitled to free mention on ad distribution as space allows AND by written approval/permission of main event sponsor AND written permission(s) from said paying sponsors.
